FA Racing with VARA

Will Formula Atlantic will be running at the last two VARA events - at Spring Mountain and at Willow Springs?

FAs can always run with the wings and slicks group with VARA

I'm interested in finding out who might be attending from the FA crowd. I tried to contact VARA to see if they could point me to a FA person, but no response yet.

there's been a white late 70s March of late, Bernard Jucli still shows up every now and then, as does Ed Swart with his chevron, another Chevron, and an occasional RT-41. There are also several 1800 FSV Ralts.

A couple more, including two swifts usually run the Fontana races

Its not a problem running with VARA. You will fit right in. I have a Water cooled Super Vee that I am restoring now......Wings a slicks...all welcome.

I maybe showing up this year late or early next year.....If I would quit bicycle racing and needing surgery on my old knees that will speed up my return to FA racing

At the VARA events we usually put together a 'Wings & Slicks' run Group that will include everything from F Continentals to F Atlantics to F 5000s to World Sports Racers. Lately only a dozen or less total in the Group, but I'll be adding my CFC soon. The Group has been stronger in the past, and I hope to rally the vintage wings group in 2017.
I won't be making Pahrump, but hope to make the Willow Springs season finale. If my Van Diemen isn't ready yet, I'll be there with my Datsun.
