    Default RF88 Parts vs RF86

Do you know how similar the RF88 is to the RF86? I have some RF86 parts.

    I have the dash/cowl piece.

The rear upper is a beautiful piece. You may have to check with Universal in England. The lowers are just links and tabs which should be replicable IMHO.

I'm looking for the oil tank.

I bought a RF88 a little while back and did a complete rebuild as it was really a piece of junk not even suitable for parking lot racing.
anyhow after many hours spent it is now good as new and finishes very well
from the little I know the 88 and 89 are the only 2 that share the frame, the front suspension is the same could be wide or narrow front track on the 88 the 89 changed to the LD200 box so did the rear suspension to suit box but same geometry. the body is similar but not the same as the 89 is without windshield and the panels are different in joints however I think the nose is the same.
United Racing Services in the UK is the best source for anything Van Diemen
oh ya when you use set up info be careful not to use the UK info as they use treaded tires and the 105 HP Kent
I have a few good bits for sale, have a look on the FF parts as I will post now
    enjoy the 88
