Hi: I have made custom racks since 1972 when I made the March FF.
I have in stock some non standard racks and housings Let me know the c/l to c/l needed for rack ends and assume pinion in center for formula car. Housing is alum tubing and uses standard FF (coupling spline 9/16 x 36 Spitfire or Sprite) pinions I have in stock and standard ball bearings. Normlly a close fit for BT21 brabham and March FF and most generic Formula Ferds. Cost--depends on how much work to get what you need dimensionally from what I have now. I will donate existing housing to an interesting project.
