I am posting here because it looks like no one reads the club FC general discussion...

I recently bought an 84 Reynard FC.

Should the front brake master cylinder be closest to the accelerator?

In looking at photos of other cars, it appears that the standard location for the front brake master cylinder is closest to the accelerator pedal. The brake pedal is actually offset towards the accelerator on the slide tube for the bias bar.

However, on mine, the rear brake master cylinder is next to the accelerator pedal. Are mine reversed? My Reynard is in the photo.

The fact that the lines are new and the fittings are aluminum tells me one of the previous owners did a rebuild and forgot the orientation..
