I am posting my RF-96R for sale. The car has sat in storage for 2 years and will need a full once over before any driving.

The car was used in Brian Stewart's driving school and is still mostly original. Car has a hewland 5 speed ld200 with a neon 2.0l motor in it.

Car was running this summer and I have videos that show it running, however when last starting the car it sounds as if the ring gear has come loose from the flywheel. Car will also need a clutch slave, tires and general maintenance as it has sat for 2+ years. It is a complete car.

Car will come with a few odd spares and a quick jack with low stands.

Asking $7000USD. Located in Ontario, Canada.

It is a RF 96 R as per the chassis tag. No it is not a FC but with no spot for a formula Renault I decided this would be closest.

It was a training car from Brian Stewart's school here in Ontario.

Not sure where this would be able to play...FS, but not competitively. Still, cheap for what it is. Maybe a great autocross or hill climb car?

Yes it is a monoshock chassis. Fun car for exebition class, hill climb auto cross, formula libre. Great starter for anyone who would like to get into the sport.

This sounds like a car from the series that Lee Abrahamson launched up in Ontario a decade ago. Basically an RF96 re-engined with a Neon engine in place of a zetec. Good solid car, ran them for a season, great fun for under $10g if you can find somewhere to play ....

I believe this is exactly one of those cars as that's the same history Brian told me. Would like to see this go to a good home.

Having a 1st gen Neon as a Chump car I can tell you that a 2.4L could pretty much drop right in, and you could even do a SRT turbo motor. Could be a lot of fun for a hill climb. Not so sure how the mass properties will change, tho. May need to with an Atlantic tire.
