    Default Mid-Ohio Track Time

The Mid-Ohio Majors event looks like an absolute zoo with so many different classes crammed into huge race groups.

For those looking for pre-Runoff track time. the Formula Racing Promotions group has an event on July 1-3. Quantity and Quality tracktime! F1600, F2000, Formula Atlantic, RCFFS.
Even if you are in another class, might be worth renting a ride to take advantage of the tracktime.

Get in your Runoff prep and be home in time for the fireworks!

Do I have to run the series tire for this event?

I am sure you would. If you are trying to find tune your bias setup, then it likely won't work for you. If you want to throw in some camber and come out and work on your driving and general car setup, let me know and I can save you some serviceable tires.

BTW, fine-tuning your car for Mid-Ohio in early summer, rarely transfers to race day in late September.

Greg, did you mean to say July 1-3, not June?

I missed the obvious main attraction of scrounging some tires and coming to the FRP event.

Having cars to race with and having fun

That's where I got confused. Thought maybe it was an open testing event for series competitors.

We were not planning on staying in Lexington or Mansfield for an extra night Ian. We will be home on Sunday night, unless you know something about the schedule we don't.
