    Default FST Lovers Community Car

An Australian Formula Vee driver ran one of our cars at a series race at Watkins Glen. During that weekend he told me about a program they had to put beginners into formula cars so they could experience the whole process right up in the cockpit. I've always thought this might be a great idea in an age where formula car racing is in a bit of difficulty. The car could offer a ride in one shot doses or even across the whole series. So as an experiment a group of us are putting together a test bed called the FST Lovers Community Car. Hoping it attracts other efforts.

I'm 17. Ever since I was in diapers I have wanted in a Formula car. I wake up thinking about it, I go to bed thinking about it. When I am not trying to find ways to acquire a Formula car or at least a drive, I am studying other people who do race, and how they control the car. I don't have any financial support. I make 9 dollars an hour and that is my entire budget for racing. So naturally I support this.

Hi Eric sounds like you got it bad… think lots of us can relate.

I just checked the 2016 schedule on FormulaFirst.org thought they had a race near you at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit but don't see it this year. Maybe someone else can chime in???
