Moved to the Vintage Events section. FF events not allowing Honda or late-model cars are vintage classified and not FF events.

This is your site, so it is within your ability to do as you see fit, but what was the harm in leaving this ad in both locations?
For most of my racing career (1997 - 2009) I raced with the SCCA and might have never learned about vintage eligibility if not for a similiar post years ago.
Yes the hondas and modern era cars may not be welcome at this time, but all the club fords certainly are.
I would say if you were to statistically look at the number of any kind of FF here in the US, the overwhelming number of cars would fall under CF.
These are some car owners that certainly could benefit of knowing of alternate ways to go racing.
Thanks for all you have done for our sport over the years.

The Royale Formula Ford Challenge Series includes Historic Fords, Club Fords and pre-'85 "tweener" Fords. I posted under FF as the Club Ford's are listed here and guys might not read the Vintage threads. We are keen to attract as many Club and Tweener Fords as are interested in racing in the Series. By just posting on one thread we only address half our current group.

It is true that we are a Formula Ford group, not a Honda group. We follow the original concept, still alive and well in the USA and the rest of the world.

Should we tailor the text to just Club Fords to remain in this category?

    Your site, your rules.

If you guys don't allow Hondas, new cars or slicks, you are running as a Vintage Race Group. To be fair to all other FF groups that are allowing all SCCA-legal FFs, these event posts should remain in the Vintage section with the other vintage-only events.

If you are looking for a second forum to post in, you guys also have a VRG forum here on ApexSpeed that is not heavily used at all. We do conduct regular audits on the free Club forums and those that don't get used generally get removed. Use what you have or lose it.
