    All 6? Only 3?

    I'm pretty sure that was the thinking BEHIND it. I'm just concerned as to whether it's enough. If you "standard FM guys" are using 6, I may need 6 with my 225HP FM-like.

    Frank I would run 6 is the rear and not worry about the extra weight. It may save you a DNF

    Yeah, I'm seriously thinking about adding the other 6. That's why I asked what you guys were doing. It just seemed a little "light" for my tastes. (Unlike myself). :-D

    Default Drive Pins

    Cars came new with 6 in the rear 3 in the front.

    The more pins you run, the longer your wheel centers will last. 6 in the rear and 6 in the front is your best bet.

    If you are only running 3 pins, and one happens to break, and you don't catch it in time, you will be running on only 2 secure pins, which will increase the likely hood of failure exponentially.

    That being said, I would say that i see about a 50/50% of 3+3 and 3+6 out there.
