    2 days in Denver
Mostly driving from Dillon over the Loveland pass. But we also got time to go up Mt Evans. Lovely views and an amazing road up Mt Evans and we were not alone testing.

Vacation is in full swing. So far we made it to Vegas via Sedona; Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Zion National Park.

Vegas is busy and as many said not really for kids but we all have enjoyed it.

Today it's of to Death Valley a stop over in Tonopah and then towards Yosemite.

Not that hot..... 115 at the visitor center and perhaps a couple more at Badwater Basin.

We saw some test cars there 2 BMW probably 5-series face-lift 1/2 masked and a small caravan of 4 Bugatti Veyron.

    Right here:

    http://www.sfrscca.org/images/2016/C...24lagsched.pdf

Smaller open wheel cars are in Group 4, wings and sports racers in Group 2. We are the last race on Sunday, @3:00PM. Laguna Seca is a county park, so a small admission fee of $9 is charged by the carload at the gate. You will only need to sign a waiver to enter the paddock.

We will look forward to seeing you and your family. I'm running #77 yellow Crossle.

Henrick, My name is Bob Hatle. I live in Oceanside about 2 miles from the 101 Cafe. I race Formula Fords--if you have time to visit when you're in town, give me a call. I have a shop with two Formula Fords and a Formula 3. Bob Hatle 760-722-0092.

Sounds like a nice idea. We're leaving Anaheim for San Diego on the morning of 31 July so if you have the time it would be nice to stop by your shop.

Bodie Ghost Town was one of our trip highlights so far!
Mammoth Lake was also very good. There was the US national MTB and down hill series visiting. Strong guys and very brave.
We found Yosemite not as good as Zion but perhaps it was a bad idea to visit on at Sunday noon. A lot of people is an understatement!

San Francisco, nice maybe we had our hopes set to high for Alcatraz but still interesting. We managed Napa Valley with the old faithful geyser. Expensive for what it is.

    Redwoods and Vineyards.
    Sonoma was nice.

Santa Cruz was over crowded at Saturday mid day......
Laguna Seca and Monterey with 17-mile drive was again a highlight. Sorry we missed the FF race and Dan Wise.
But we got our T-shirts :-)

Tomorrow we're heading south along HWY 1 to Ventura.

    Hearst castle ? Solvang?
If you're still in Carmel head to the barnyard shopping center and have breakfast at a place called "from scratch"
    Good food!

    Default Southern CA

Though I have only visited San Diego, so really don't have "on the ground" knowledge of California, when I was dreaming up a road trip a couple of years ago, these were some of the interesting points I thought about in Southern California:

    - The Santa Monica Pier is the end of the legendary Rt 66. Is it worth seeing? Don't know.
    - Hollywood, not sure what part is worth a short visit
    - La Brea Tar Pits at Page Museum on Wilshire Blvd in LA
    - Beverly Hills, original Umami Burger joint on La Brea, across from Goodwill store
    - Rent a wetsuit and go bodysurfing in Malibu or Newport Beach

Again, not a CA resident so these are East Coast ideas of what to see and do.

    Good burgers!
We had a quick one after a long day. Fog all day along Hwy 1. We had not booked Hearst castle and it was a long wait so we have to do that another time. Solvang was pretty.

We (myself my wife and our 6yrs old boy) are interested in
    Museum race/car/mechanical
    Local car gathering
    Senic view/drive
    Old diners
    Any "local must see"
    Local hike
    etc

    Our plans so far:
    Arrive to Boston on 12-July
5 days in Boston/New Hampshire area
    NASCAR at New Hampshire 17-July
Fly to Las Vegas on the 18th
4 days aground Vegas and Grand Canyon
    Fly to San Francisco
    4 days in SF area

    5 days in LA area
Fly back home around the 10th of August
If you want to look at racing a formula Vee see dates for the challengecupseries.com
I have a few formula vees available for international drivers as guests in the series. It's arrive and drive ...the only cost involved is the entry fee.
