The right driver with the right setup can win any race including the Runoffs with this car. This car is not for larger drivers. The new Blade has a wider cockpit.

I realize that it is raising some questions why I am selling a brand new car that is currently one of the fastest chassis's in the class. Issue is I just don't fit in the car. This car needs a smaller driver. I learned the hard way when having a car built I should have put specifications in the contract regarding the size of the cockpit. I'm not giving up on the F600 class. If the right deal came along for an F6 trade I would consider it too.

I'm 5'10 and 210 lbs and the car is tight on my hips. I have had several smaller drivers sit in the car tight but still comfortable like Clint McMahan and Matt Strand. I don't know their measurements though. They will hopefully chime in.

I am 5' 9" and 190 lbs and I fit snugly in the hips. Slimmer is better...

    Default stupid question

why not just modify the frame to fit the driver?

Not easily done. Would require a frame off tear down and significant cutting apart of the frame to widen the mid rail by 4 inches overall (2" per side). Would also require a new wider and shorter fuel cell. All of this requires a large labor component as I'm paying someone else to maintain the car. It is an expensive proposition.

I would look at the Wildcat from Ryan Barth at RJB motorsports . I am 6'1" and was 225 and fit with a lot of room to spare. He has been great to work with and is working with us to make a lot of improvements over the winter. The car will be great this year and it keeps you in F600!

I am 5ft 9in 150lbs. My pants size is 30-32. I fit snug in the car which is the way I like it. I have Chris ross old car and it does have a decent amount more room in it. The cockpit is a KBS not to be confused with a QRE invader. The QRE invader has more room than a KBS in "factory" form.

this is a deal. you cannot build a car with all the extra special parts Chris has put on the car. Can win any race with the right driver.

Good luck selling your car Chris. As F600 cars go, it is one of the nicest out there. Have you listed it in SportsCar magazine? I've been out of SCCA for a few years and no longer receive it.

No, I haven't listed it in SportsCar yet. I was hoping it would sell thru the forums, but I might go ahead and list it there and maybe get a broader audience. Still waiting on getting interior pics of the car, but I have to wait for Dan to finish the work on the other F6's they maintain so they can get mine out of the trailer.

    Hi Chris,

Please send me additional pictures of the car with the body off if possible. I would also like to know the dimension of the distance between the hip bars if possible.

    Thanks, Darrin DeVault

I just called the gentlemen who is storing the car. He is going to try and get some photos tonight. If not it will be Monday as he is heading to the track this weekend.
