What would you guys suggest as the best approach to repairing a lightly damaged aluminum splitter?

Yes he is, the car ran out of his shop when I bought it in 2011 for track days. I destroyed that spilter once and he made it better.
It's sister car has finished 3+4th (I think)in the last to p2 run offs.
    It's a great car...have a blast with it.
    When did you buy it?

Did the previous owner say why he sold it? He had it less than a year, just curious...

Send me an email and I can forward you the names of a couple others that would be a good resource for you.

BTW...the picture of you have in your profile is me at COTA 3 years ago today! I have more if you have any interest. Also in car vidieo

    Shawn,

Not sure if you've contacted Mike Devins yet, but he is the man on LSR bodywork.
I have been maintaining an LSR at the track for the past two seasons and Mike has made some significant upgrades to the front splitter area. At places like Daytona, these upgrades will be very needed.

Yes, I've been Andy's trackside support at LMI for the '14 and '15 season.

IMO, the LSR is a very potent P2 car.

    You'll enjoy it.

It's hard to tell in the photo what is damaged. If it's just the leading edge that is slightly bent up, use a couple of pieces of wood and pound it flat or use a wide nose flat sheet metal pliers.
