We have done a reasonably good job of keeping the word out there about this guy. I have heard from prospective customers and prospective employers in the years since he ripped us off.

It is telling that he has to keep his name out of the team, although I'm sure that he is still running the show.

I hope we can keep helping people not get ripped off by Jon Lewis and leading edge gp.

Oh hahaha I remember those "press releases" from the last thread about him. Always talks about himself in third person and some of them he even interviews himself, its hilarious in a sad kind of way. Who even does that?

One driver told me the Leading Edge FB page said he resigned. Either way, I suggested he do some very thorough vetting of the team. They are looking into it.

It is possible he had some backers in this, and when they found out he was a con man they forced him out. Unlike his other scams, there are other people involved with the team this time, and not just him like previously.

Either way, the drivers now know about it and, I am told, look into it carefully. I hope they don't get scammed like many have before.

Whether he is involved currently or in the past with the team it is good you let the drivers know prior to them getting in any deeper. At this point now they can make the decision on the direction they take. It is good we have people who are willing to reach out to others and fore warn them rather then after the fact say to them "Didn't you know?"

I am also unsure why any organization in racing would allow him to be involved with them such as F4? There should be some provisions for the organizers to not allow him to continue to use racing series names in press releases let alone run in any of their events. By not stopping him it simply fuels his scams. This in turn hurts professional teams creating doubt about the industry.
