    Default F1 at COTA

Even though the Masters F1 Group was not mentioned by the NBCSN team at COTA (we did get a mention-in-passing at Mexico) here are 428 pictures of our cars in action in Austin. Some of the shots are pretty good.

The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.

    Nicely done!

I was there and the sounds coming from these cars made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Thanks for a great (and very wet) show.

I had forgotten how loud they were until watching him yesterday from the grandstands. Unbelievably awesome!

Those are amazing pictures! Takes a big pair of them to run those cars in those conditions as well.

    I second Bam Bam's comment.

Just forget about the conditions. How much would one of those cost to fix if a slight bump occurred.

And they put on a spectacular show judging from the pics posted.

It took me a week to dry my helmet out! And then I was back at Austin this weekend for SVRA and some more rain...

Two weekends of soaking rain in Texas. Must be some sort of record.

Naturally both would be race weekends.

Anyone remember the T shirt "If it's raining this must be Nelson Ledges"?

Before the drought in SF Region, the T shirt read "If it's raining this must be drivers school."
