The MOTORSPORT CLUB OF OTTAWA (MCO) (www.mco.org) proudly announces its 2015 ‘Ted Powell Race' at Calabogie Motorsports Park from August 21st to 23rd, 2015!

This will be round 5 of the F1200 series...Prepare for one of the nicest tracks around.

Ontario Region’s Driver’s Championship and one of the six that hosts all of the Race Groups, making this event an important one for those drivers working towards earning one of the end of season awards as Regional Race Class Champion!

The weekend starts with a full Test Day on Friday, August 21st during which drivers will get a chance to learn the challenging 5.05 km long world class facility known as ‘Calabogie Motorsports Park’. In addition, they will also get to do adjustments to their cars without the pressure of trying to do so under race conditions.

Then the real excitement gets underway sharp at 8:30 AM Saturday August 22nd with a full day of Practice, Qualifying and the first races for most classes. The Ontario GT Challenge Class and Quebec SuperProduction Series both combine to race the challenging One Hour GT where a mandatory pit stop allows for optional driver changes, or minor car adjustments, before heading back out to look for the Checkered Flag!

Sunday starts at 9:00 AM with again, a full day of racing for the remaining 7 classes all vying for precious championship points to help get them closer to that Championship Trophy and all of the glory that goes to the Class winner at the Awards Banquet in October!
