That is an early/mid 1990s Red Devil. Very optimistic asking price.

I sold my first F500 (actually an F440) to a gentleman in Maine who to the best of my knowledge hardly ever raced it. I raced it in 2005 and sold it at the end of the 2005 season to a Matt Smith in Maine. It was a 1993 Red Devil. This may or may not be the car. Mine was Kelly Green with the number 12.

I talked to Matt Smith around 2011 about buying this car. It is a 93 Red Devil.

here are all the photos he sent me back then.

    Nick,

Do you remember if the roll bar on this car is compliant with the current rules for road racing? I can't remember when the rule changed, and that would be a key piece of info for anyone considering this car for anything other than autocross.

    From our correspondence:
As of my last SCCA tech in 2008 it was fully compliant with the earlier rules changes which required stronger chassis tubing and rollhoop tubes.

It definitely was my first F5 and you will find my name in the logbook. Good little car. If it still has the 440 engine would probably need a Rotax to be competitive. It passed roll bar inspection with me in the car and I am 6ft.
