    The Hoosier Tire US Formula 1000 Championship Fueled by Sunoco makes its annual return to Watkins Glen International for rounds 7 and 8 this weekend!
    Schedule:
    Friday July 3rd
    10:20 = 25 minute Qualify 1
    3:20 = 25 minute Qualify 2
    Saturday July 4th
    9:40 = 15 minute Qualify 3
    3:15 = 15 lap Race
    Sunday July 5th
    1:55 = 15 lap Race

    After 2.5 rounds of qualifying (this morning was wet and only Jeremy Hill went out), the top three spots on the grid looked similar to past weekends with J.R. Osborne taking the pole.

    I suspect you are asking how much faster was the Kawi...146.556 vs the fastest GSXR 148.096... better start writing letters since Daytona will be worse. Cheers, Jeremy Hill

    there was a new record for P2 as well not sure about other classes. the old tack record was J Hill at 1.47.569. **** that Kawasaki is so fast we beet by a 10th. And in the first race we won by a 10th from mayer. so guys we need to start the letters

    With a clean sweep of the weekend, including two poles, two wins, and two fast race laps, Osborne takes over the lead in the championship, dropping Mayer to second. Hill moves up to third, bumping Cooper to fourth.
