Default Only place I've ever seen this done

Years ago at Moroso/PBIR there was a Trooper just sitting on a stool at the entrance to the paddock..........he sat there just to look inside all closed trailers......obviously looking for stolen cars that had been converted into race cars. He didn't want to see Titles.....just Vin numbers if he thought he needed to see it.

He actually lived at the track in a double wide. Unfortunately... Owners have changed and he is no longer there.

    Default Sorry, Megan

I'll make sure the folks at MSR-H and the Houston region are aware and we'll keep our eyes open. Hopefully they are dumb enough to show up where your car is known!

Isn't it permitted in Texas to shoot someone who is damaging your property.

Those low life's deserve a bad case of lead poisoning.

There is nothing much worse than a thief.

I just hope that the law gets hold of them before some Apexer does.

I am pissed off and it wasn't my stuff.

This drags up an old thread.

I have two 2500 WP GPS tracking units that I do not need. Last generation serviced by Bike Bone, Inc. Monitoring is $12.95 a month last I looked. Units have never been installed and are perfect. Cost me $260. I'll send them anywhere in the US for $250. MSRP was $399. They have all the standard functions - virtual fence, tracking, notifications. Requires a contract.

    email fattogatto@msn.com for details.

I would keep an eye out in Tennessee if we had a description of the truck and plate number. Any markings on the trailer. I think I have more chance of seeing the rig than the race car.

I don't think Texas is as cool with justifiable killings as they say they are. I don't think I've been this mad, sad, and emotionally drained. I do know that Karma is a B. And I hope that the guy that did this one day hurts, is as screwed as my family feels.

Thanks to everyone for the support and kind words. It means the world to me and my family!

I can't remember where I heard it from, but thieves like enclosed trailers as portable meth labs. They dump the contents if can't easily be sold.

    Meg,
Is there ANYTHING descriptive about the outside of the trailer that everyone could watch out for ?? Do you have a picture of it? It would be the most likely item to be spotted as opposed to the car .. unless someone tries to sell it.

Meg, Mike, don't loose hope on finding your car/trailer. Mike Mchugh (who posts here) had his trailer and car taken in the Bay Area. They located the trailer and a short time latter they recovered his car (Anson SA4). As a young Deputy Sheriff I actually had the guy who they arrested with the car in my jail unit. I asked him what he intended to do with the car? He told me that he had no idea just thought it was neat and admitted that he would sit in it and pretend to race it! He told me it was an "Indycar." Total petty career criminal. If Mike sees this he I'm sure remembers more of the details.

    Default This trailer

The trailer in the picture is identical to mine! It is not mine though

If you see a trailer just like this with a texas plate call the police and call me.

I really appreciate everyone keeping an eye out for my family and I. The support and positive words have made such a difference.

    Thank you everyone!
