    Default Bit the schnitzel

    Hi All,
Well I bit the schnitzel and bought a D13 from a very nice fellow, out of a local barn for a fair price. It has a good running noble motor and came with a very capable open trailer and extra set of wheels/tires. It needs a fuel cell and harness right off the bat, then ample amounts of cleaning, freshening, and lubrication, and eventual cooling tin, a fan and a generator to be vintage legal.

Once the fuel cell is in, and rear brakes rebuilt, I'll take the car to a local chassis dyno for a couple of baseline runs, which will be interesting I think. Does anyone have chassis dyno data for a competitive FV? Very curious what good numbers look like.

Also, any specific recommendations for fuel cell for the D13? Thanks in advance. M.
