    Default FST - sold

Selling my Adams Aero FST. Had one fun season racing in the Detroit area then moved to North Carolina for work and haven't been able to get back to it. It deserves a better life than sitting in my garage! It does start up and run as of yesterday. I am 6'0 with 32" inseam and I fit in the car, but any taller might be a tight squeeze.

Asking $5400, includes free "trailer" if wanted (see picture)

    Info:
-Newly rebuilt heads from Autowerks from right before I moved.
-Newly rebuilt transaxle from Vallis Motorsport from right before I moved.
    -New electronic ignition module
-Penske rear shock, mystery front shocks
    -Includes Waterford muffler
-Currently Wet Sump, but have Dry Sump tank and Pump
-3 sets of wheels, 2 steel 1 aluminum (with spacers)
-1 set of never used rain tires (a couple years old)
    -have spare UNPREPPED front beam
    -have spare UNPREPPED engine block
    -have 2 spare UNPREPPED heads
-some assorted spare gaskets, tubes, etc.

    Needs:
-The fuel cell and belts are out of date

Currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina area.

Yep Scott it is! Was wondering where the car got off to, wonder if it will migrate back to San Fran region...I'm sure dad would love that

He should buy that thing just for the motor and accessories to finish his M5.

Default Both ways its a very good deal

Just a few years ago Jon had a great start in our Hoosier series. As a test engineer he paid attention and turned something ill-prepared into a really decent ride. In only three races he went from the back to just behind the lead pack. The motor was good and all the FST VW parts were excellent. If one buys the whole package the FST parts are cheaper than buying them new, only better, because they are tested and found to be fine and improved from the original.

We were indeed sorry Jon got transferred to the NASCAR program in NC and had to leave the series but this car is a great opportunity for someone. It’s fast as it sits as a FST, or it’s a great deal as a parts donor.

Thanks for the kind words Robert!

And yes, I bought this car from Tim Wall a few years ago when I still lived in Michigan. He was even kind enough to offer to drive it out from California for me!

Default Hopefully he keeps it FST

It would be great if Colin kept it FST and raced with us next season. We now have a strong presence in Nashville with our two cars & Dr Doug Sharp.

    Default Good Car

This was a car which has good components and plenty of potential. The new owner should be able to capitalize on it. Good deal for all.

    Default FST in Columbus

I plan on keeping the car as a FST and hopefully participating in the races I can make in the Hoosier Regional Championship this year after I complete my drivers school.

    Default Great News Colin

That's great news Colin. I know in preliminary discussions about next years schedule there are several within a reasonable drive of you that are being discussed. If we can be of any help as you prep the car don't hesitate to ask.
