Default Where to get threaded bolts with grooves for e clips

Does anyone know where I can get threaded bolts with grooves at the end of them for e clips? The spark arrestor on my exhaust uses those bolts.

Can you go a bit longer and drill a hole for a cotter pin or safety wire?

Another alternative would be all metal lock nuts.

    Default A Lathe?

Anybody with a lathe can turn down the end of a similar fastener and cut a groove, but that 's the hard way.

A lot of the new go karts use bolts like that. Check with your local kart shops or look up Russell Karting on line.

Summit sells bolts like that for exhaust manifolds.

I think the exhaust bolts have the grove in the head. He needs the grove at the end of the bolt. Small picture but the grove looked to be at the end of the bolt.
