Default 5 LB Fire Bottle test

Well I had bad news followed by good news.
The bad news: while trying to extract myself from my Mysterian I inadvertently tested my fire system.
The good news: the fire system failed it only spit and drizzled out of the nozzles.

Thank god this happened now! Not when I needed it!

Now I'm in the market for a short fat 5 lb bottle and firing mechanism. Anyone know where I can get one?

Just get it recharged - I had mine recharged last year and it was much less than a new bottle.

The folks at Safecraft can help you:

Make sure you have the proper nozzles in the car for the type of extinguisher you have. The Spa Technique rep saw mine and knew instantly that they were the older Halon type and wouldn't be proper for my new bottle.

    Dumb question:

How do I know it will work when needed? If the gauge shows the right range is that always accurate?

My bottle is 2 years old.

But when I pulled everything out. I found that my bottle is the one that came with the car in 1991!!!!

    Lesson learned.
