Oh wow this bums me out to see this car for sale. I was really looking forward to seeing this car at least once or twice this season with Jake as the pilot.

I sure hope it stays on the west coast and goes to someone that is committed. This is at a minimum F3 or better quality work and development done to this car, it would cost triple this to duplicate.

Everyone do yourself a favor and go to the link above from his test day at HPR, that is mighty fine race craft. Looks like the car is on rails.

Would be open to discussing trade scenarios involving interesting street or race cars as well, Corvettes in particular.

    Default Nice Stohr

Momentum duplicated on our customer car the frame mods that Jake had performed on his chassis. They are a significant improvent to a chassis that is initially too flexable and as a result oversprung. Reducing spring rates , softing for better grip, lessing the areo required, makes the car more responsive for driving and adjustment.

Based on our experience with just that one process that Jake peformed, I can only imagine how much better he made that car with all the other developments listed.
Seems to us that if you want a Stohr THIS is the car to get.

Fresh off first race of the year - two poles, two fastest laps, and two race wins. Stayed cool in 100 degree Rocky Mountain heat.

Just changed the chain and diff bearings, and inherited a box of suspension pickup spares, steering arms, camber shims, and more to add to the list of spares.

Car is moving to Atlanta in a few months to race a bit out east in 2016 before it finds a new home.

Bit of fun video to follow...

    Jake,

Very interested in your car. Would you consider a partial trade for a pristine 2012 4800 mile Ducati Diavel Carbon?

Email me at dmark22@mac.com if interested. I can move quickly to purchase.

    OC,

appreciate the interest. That said, not looking for any old muscle cars to round out the fleet.

Happy to discuss the car if you're interested otherwise.

Car is now at Young Racing in Atlanta for anybody that wants to have a look see. Fresh off its 4th place finish at the Runoffs with wheelman Giancarlo DiCoopola!

Now sporting a Zebulon MSC beam wing to round out the aero package, and Daytona/hi-speed specific endplates. The ol' girl was good for 164mph at Daytona!

    Ted,

Then this ought to be more to your liking.

Some fun, ragged laps at Motorosports Park Hastings this past August, as a warmup for Coop to drive 'er at Daytona. Just a few ticks shy of the outright track record - max downforce we could throw at it, and me having a ton of fun:

4th at Runoffs at Daytona was pretty good, but this car should be KILLER at medium and short tracks with all the aero work we've done.

Also thought I'd add that the package now includes a complete spare 2012 Kawi with spare BRD dry sump pan and GDRE harness.

If you ever need to change an engine, remove old, plug in new, no swapping over of parts from old engine to new, or anything else necessary.

Engine harness plugs into car with 2 3-pin Deutsch connectors and the 2-pin coil interrupt for the shift harness, that's it

    Driving The ZebStohr

Jake asked if I would give a quick overview of the car, from my experience at Daytona.
We took 4th, with only a handful of laps during the Sat and Sun test days, and very few qualy laps from the 4 sessions.

To say we could have easily made the podium, in a car I had never even sat in, mind you, is NOT A STRETCH AT ALL - This car is THAT GOOD.
(Just imagine what having a few trouble free test days and an actual seat that fit!)

I had a black cloud following me it seemed, as I had a bunch of stupid little things go wrong, back to back to back - mirror lens fell out, sprocket nut wouldn't come off, battery took a dump along w/ voltage regulator, gps speed sensor would not cooperate, the list was long!
We kept fighting back, ALL parts that were an issue were replaced w/ new, and further development to other systems.

The car itself reminds me a BUNCH of the RFR I had from '09-'14, in it's feel/handling/braking.
It's very planted, and hooks up quite well coming off corners, and if you watch the vid from the RO's going into T1 on the start(s) JRO in 1st and me in 5th, going to 3rd, BOTH have our cars dancing right on the edge of cold tire grip.

AGAIN, I had very few laps strung together during the whole week - the car is THAT easy to get in a groove with.

In an effort to jump start the quest for high speed at Daytona, I had elected to just remove the complete upper rear wing and side plates, going only with the very efficient difuser, and the main beam wing, which is NOT a stock Stohr piece, and is a very wide chord, w/ a bit of a trailing lip.

The standard Stohr F1000, first offered back in '07 was quite a bargain, but needed a TON of development: The car came with a little wimpy front wing, that offered maybe 30% of the down force that was needed for proper front grip, no ARB's, bodywork that was more parachute than aerodynamically efficient...

THIS car has addressed all those issues. It is a for real contender.

I'd really like to drive this car with the normal wing package on a true road course, esp after seeing Jake's vid's from his local-ish tracks!

If anyone is looking for a turn key, developed, proven package, one that they can get and show up at a track, unload the car and put it on the box... this is it.

OK Coop, I saw you upshifting and downshifting on the RH side of the steering wheel. Also looked like a shifter paddle on the LH side that was not used. Was I not paying attention??

Based on the car description, possibly the hand-operated clutch?

If only I had that much extra cash, plus 50% due to the crap dollar up here

Latest addition to the car is a complete spare Zebulon MSC front wing package - mainplane, endplates, and flaps.

Coop will be bringing the car to Mid-O for the Runoffs, should be interesting to see how she does on a short track with all the aero work we've put into the car.

Have had a few inquiries about selling JUST the car without any of the spares. Would be willing to sell JUST the car without the spares pack for $39,900.

Or, as before, interesting street car trades considered etc, especially newer Corvettes.

Updated ad up top as well.

    Cheers!

A few updates on this one. Car now has full aero-tube suspension from BRD
and recently got brand new rotors as well. Next stop, Indy!

    New year, new price.

Just ran the car at VIR and had a ball, I had forgotten how amazingly fast these things are, crikey.

The car will be in Ottawa for the summer until about late September, and then will come home to Colorado unless it has a new owner.

So, I am open to helping deliver the car anywhere between Ottawa and Colorado until then, since I need to get my truck and trailer home from there anyway.

Good point, my 3-year old supposition probably was wrong ;-)
