Kolthoff Garage Sale

Many of you knew Mike Kolthoff, a great racer, artist and helmet painter and all around great guy. It's taken a bit to get up the courage but Lori took on the huge task of cleaning out his race trailer and she has asked me to list many of the items. Everyone who knew Mike and his cars knew the condition he kept everything in and most of these parts are in similar condition. If they are not, I will be upfront with you, I took pictures of most everything but posting them all would overwhelm my account I'm sure. If you are truly interested and need a picture let me know and I'll send one if I have one. Everything is listed in the attached spreadsheet and the price does not include shipping. If anyone wants to make an offer for everything I'm sure Lori would entertain it. She is going to use the money to fund a scholarship in Mike's name at his high school so all the money will be going for a good cause.

TDC oil pump and all plumbing fittings that match the engine installed in the DB6. No time lost switching out parts when changing engines.
This is an engine I had built up after I had to change one at a racetrack with only my wife and where I had to switch out a ton of stuff
to a short block I had. 8 hours later I had a engine installed but I then vowed the next spare would indeed be a true plug and play spare.
This is it! Clean out the oil lines and sump and plug this in and you are good to go. $6500

It is still available. So here's what Lori found - it is a Standard Enclosed Trailer by Cargo-Tec Ltd., G.A.W.R. is 3450, G.V.W.R. Is 9800, workbench, full overhead cabinets, side closet, electric jack, side door 32" x 70", rear door ramp, diamond plate floor, axles (2) 9800 rubberide, overall dimensions 8'0" wide x 24'0" length x 70" high. There's a side canopy that was recently replaced.

If I may suggest:

You've obviously got the items in a spreadsheet, so: could you sort based on the "Sold" column?

All the unsold items would come first and you wouldn't read about something you might be interested in, only to have to carefully scan across to the right (adding alternating white and grey cell backgrounds would help) to discover it's already gone.

I've updated the list removing sold items. Some good DB6 parts - staff dog rings, spindle. Opened up the engine to verify a few things based on questions - it is a Ford Crank and the Hepolite pistons, bottom end and head/intake are Loyning originals with Boomba Engines doing the refresh, new external TDC dry sump pump, Swift pan. Dropped engine price so we can get this last big item moved for Lori. Let me know if you have any questions. Vintage guys the Jones Tach is in good shape. He also has a two toolboxes full of tools to sell, I would really like to see these going to a kid going off to be a car or aircraft mechanic. I can inventory but would it will be a lot of work as Mike accumulated a lot of tools.

Engine is sold, Garey jumped on it right away and it should make a good bullet for his DB6!

Fuel transfer unit is not sold and is still available.

Working on putting a price on the tools, I'm going to go over snap some pics and inventory what I can. I'll update next week.
