The Chris Amon replica!
Does he too have the knack of switching teams at just the wrong time? We'll see.

I for one dislike the helmet. Looks like it belongs on Team USA!
He need a classy Spanish themed helmet

It's a clever joke for those of us who know too much! That is Chris Amon's helmet. Amon was widely regarded as one of the best drivers to never win a World Championship and plagued by bad luck and switching teams at the wrong moment.
Of course it remains to be seen if the McLaren Honda Combo is going to take both Fernando and McLaren to the Championship in the future whilst the uncharitable might suggest Ferrari's pre season testing speed was a PR exercise. We shall see!
Amon never won a GP. It's hard to believe.

reminds me of that movie herbie the love bug
Didn't Amon have the kiwi roadrunner-type bird on his helmet?

Is the bird. Seen on Amon's helmet in the 60s.
The time sheets this week have Ferrari on top virtually every session. Sad that Alonso, who carried the team the last half decade, will not benefit.

That picture brings to mind the cafe scene in Grand Prix

Well, what do you do?
(Move into long closeup of face and then cut to next scene with her on pit lane)
IMO, the bottom center photo is where she looks best to me. In the young photos, you can't see her personality. In the one I like, you can.

One of my favorite photo's taken by my Dad. An atmospheric shot of Amon having just crashed out of the German GP. I like the 'thought bubble' outline of the circuit above his head.

The second one (Bridget) is down right scary... at 80

Just watched the Roman Polanski doc on Sir Jackie Stewart from '71. Oh man, Ms. Helen was mesmerizing...and the ultimate class lady.
