Default A few pics from AZ FF

A couple of photos, more can be seen at www.eformulaford.com in the Gallery section.

I managed to hold off former Indy 500 contender Jim Guthrie as seen in the 3 car picture, but his son, Sean, schooled us good, running 1.5 seconds under the previous track record........

Of course, ApexSpeed decals lower lap times, lol

So where did you get the go-fast Apex decals? I looked around on this site a bit but didn't see anything.

Well Jeremy, why didn't you ask me when we talked at the race? I have a few left. I'll be shaking down the Crossle again 03/01, if you want some decals. Let me know. They are out of production now, so now 100.00 for the ones that read from right to left, and 200.00 for the ones that read left to right.

But, seriously... are you bringing out that Z-10? That is a nice car. you should contact Mr. Lathrop to put a setup on it, and lap everyone.

We will be glad to help you get that beauty out. Our main goal this spring is to find the set up and such for the SVRA COTA race. The PASA races are basically test days for us.

Does that mean you won't mind moving over when you see me in your mirrors?

Just kidding, I had fun trying to pass you. One day ...

    Lol Dave,
You are the fast one. Someone said I have another wide Crossle like Jared's......that's not wheel track width, you have me confused with the Vectors, it's slip angles, lol. See ya 03/01.

Been sporting Apex Speed decals for years. I haven't seen a forum monthly banner pic that isn't SCCA ever though, lol. (Yes Doug, that was a hint)

    Default Old link and....

Well that link from Burky was from 2006 and my email bounced back.

Been busy getting the seat and driving position of the Zink suitable to my frame. Planning a test day at the Musselman Honda Circuit here in Tucson next week.

Will have the car at Bondurant West track Feb 28- March 1 "come hell or high water" as they say.

Let me know if you need any help, Jeremy. I have one garage spot open here if you want to drag it here and we can prep together. We probably should scale and align that car for you as well as a gear change.......

@Marshall. Oh you funny man you, no blue pills for me! Unlike Lucas starters I have no problems getting the old engine running ... sorry ..TMI

@Jeremy. My initial thought was oil pump but upon inspection it appears fine. Hard to tell but I think the scavenge line may well have collapsed. The oil pan is full of oil plus stuff that should be somewhere else. The engine is up at Mr. Ivey's place receiving the best care possible.

I will ready the '88 to run with you in Feb. I second Marshall's help offer, let me know if there is anything i can do. I bet Scott would jump in to help too.

    Regards ... Dave

What type of scavenge line were you using?

Would you bring out to the next race? I would like to look at it.

    See you there
