Default 2014 Hoosier FST Final Points

Our 10th season with solid growth, new drivers and our largest total number of drivers scoring points to date, 20.

We have crowned a new FST series Champion for 2014. Kiwi Rob Clark had an excellent season and gets his name on the Randy Shinn Cup.

I think all of us involved in Formula First are extremely proud that the class is next year going on 13 years old and our series just finished it's 10th season. 2015 is looking very bright with cars heading to the West Coast, Midwest and South East.

Here is the points spreadsheet for the 2014 season:

    Default Congrats all

Our congratulation to Rob for a Championship season. The three pegs were all there. A great driver, a good car and a bit of luck. All three come into play. And our runner up Doug Seim just shy of a bit of luck. Can you believe Phil McSherry's rookie season? One would expect this from a third year driver but Phil learned fast, paid attention to the success formula and wowed everyone.

Other great performance also including Dr. Doug Sharpe who couldn't make it out a lot of weekends but when he did he was great and how about the masterful performances of Butch Deer our oldest driver, who didn't drive like one. I can go on with Dave Dawson quick start which slowed only because his primary motor signed off, Sam Farmiga really got with it in the last part of the season. I can go on with a number of others who were equally impressive.

    See you all in 2015!

Sorry, about the delay. Had some eye surgery and computer work was a bit difficult. Ok now and the FFDA web site has been updated...

Default Question on Fast Lap Points at Race One Gateway

    Bill,

I'm not certain, but I think Phil had fast lap Sat. at Gateway (1 Point). I attached a photo of the lap record certificate. Doug got fast lap on Sunday. Please consider this. Thanks.

I can change it on the FFDA website, but I was given a fast lap for Doug of 1:08.658.

    Someone let me know

Walt, 100% correct. Phil actually has 79 points. Thank you for letting me know.
Will correct the posted spread sheet
