    Default 07/08 Suzuki GSXR 1000

07/08 George Dean prepared Suzuki GSXR 1000. The engine came out of the car as a zero time, relatively new engine went in to start the Majors season. This engine has four weekends on it since it was rebuilt, and is a very strong engine. The Rilltech oil pan and throttle bodies were swapped onto the new engine going into the car.

    $2500

I'll throw in a Setrab oil cooler(22"x6"), and a complete Larry Krop(sp) dry sump system that is upgraded and new, including oil tank. Everything together should be going for $5,000.

Default Why did you swap the motor - issues?

Did you have issues with the motor and do you know if 2002 GSXR throtlebody will fit?

    Thanks

There are no issues. As I said, I wanted to start the season with a zero time motor. Pulling this one out was pretty much routine.

Don't know about the older throttle body, but I can find out.

While the earlier throttle bodies may/can be made to fit, they certainly will not hook up to the dual injector 07/08 harness.
If a set of 07/08 TB's is needed, I have some.
    PM me if interested.

    Thanks, GC

The engine is no longer for sale. Changed my mind.

There are a dwindling supply of these engines. If I have to dicker around with people over this, I'll just keep it.
