There was a discussion, now deleted, on the track record thread about the track record at Gateway.

From Wheelspin the St. Louis Region newsletter:

The Formula first cars were on hand during the final Club Racing weekend here in St. Louis. Phil McSherry set a new track record (NTR) on Saturday at 1:08.667 (86.504 mph) while Robert Clark picked up the win. McSherry took the win on Sunday, but his NTR didn't last long as Doug Seim turned a 1:08.658 (86.516 mph) that day.

We keep that thread pretty clean as the posts get long enough that readers can find the main info at the top of the 1st page.

As a note, this post was mosty about the Hoosier series bonus point due to Phil for Saturdays fast lap. The master list now has Doug's Sunday lap time listed and all is good.

Any St. Louis Region October races planned at Gateway in 2015? We are setting our 2015 Hoosier series schedule currently.

Any St. Louis Region October races planned at Gateway in 2015? We are setting our 2015 Hoosier series schedule currently.

St. Louis Region is currently planning on having three race weekends next year. May 16-17; August 22-23; and October 24-25. I have been told that these dates are not official yet but pretty firm. It would be great to see your group again.

Thank you for all the St Louis Region hospitality from a very successful event at Gateway. Even though it was sort of last minute, it was strong enough that we're looking at the October date for a season ending event.
