How did yesterday's 2nd practice session go?
What time & days are qualifying & when is the race?
Good luck to everyone this week!
Steve Bamford
Please somebody who is out at Laguna, please keep us updated and let us know what is going on. From Jeremy in his Citation, Tim in the chrome Piper, and the new Pipers under the Fast Forward tent to Stan Townes who finally gets the RO in his backyard and all the others who make the trek, good luck and race hard and safe. Hoping to hear more about the week as it unfolds. Go PIPER!! Jeremy is my favorite east coaster..............just wish he was in my car!

The results for the first 4 (AM) sessions are on Race Monitor. For reasons unknown, there are no other results there. http://www.race-monitor.com/Results/Session/5181182 links to the small open wheel session. Jeremy was fastest FF, but there is some ISSUE since I find it quite hard to believe that Weisheit in his FV turned a time within a few thousandths of Jeremy and 11 seconds faster than Varacins.
I never got anything from SCCA "Live" at http://www.sccahost.com/sccalive/
(it seems to be just a 'round about' link to Race-Monitor)
The event schedule is at http://scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/...ule_9.5.14.pdf
The RACES (only) are *SUPPOSED* to be broadcast on SpeedCastTV at http://www.speedcasttv.com/scca/#/schedule
but we won't know for sure until it does or doesn't actually become live at race time.

Steve, FV80
Racing since '73 - FV since '77
Thanks Steve.
Today's qualifying 10:10 AM
Wednesday 2:30 PM
Thursday 10:10 AM
Race Friday 10:30 AM.
Based on the qualifying times the racers should be in good shape to know what the track will be like with the same race time as long as weather is good.
Keep in mind the time change for those here on the East Coast.

Nice job Jeremy!
Where can one find time sheets online?
Race Monitor has them, or...
SCCA site http://www.scca.com/events/results.cfm?eid=6670

Not a single mygale. Funky.
Anyone care to post photo's of the newest Piper DL7?

Are practice times posted anywhere?
Did the Spectrum engineers show up from Australia?
Here are a few shots of our DL7's, some from Mosport and some from Mont-Tremblant. Great looking and already winning races in the first few events, bring on 2015!
Brian.
Cool car. But, although you might not have guessed it, I'm a Bare Naked Ladies fan. Any pics without the fiberglass? [or is that still "censored"?]

Talent usually ends up in front, but fun goes from the front of the grid all the way to the back.

Is there any place available on the web to view combined qualifying results? I don't see it on Race Monitor or scca.com
first link on the right on scca.com/runoffs: results. click q3 for FF or whatever class. The positions are the combined q1/q2/q3 positions along with all 3 times.
site is down right now.
Doug,
Beautiful car! I bet it would look even better with my Loyning in it!
And red.

We knew it was going to be a barn burner, and it is.
Feel bad for some folks that didn't make it past T2 or Lap 1...
Wins Runoffs. Doesn't know how to take his helmet off.

Congratulations Jeremy
Congrats Jeremy. I told you that you would do it. Well earned.
I'm starting a Ethan Shippert Fan Club. Glad he was able to fight his way up there. That guy is as class as they come.
Great job of "puttn the spurs to her". You had an awesome drive. Congratulations on making it to the podium!
