Default Inaugural 2015 Kentledge Cup at the ARRC

2015 is racing along and with 5 months left until this dedicated Formula Ford race on treaded Toyo tires it's time put the plan in action.

To clarify this is a race for all Ford powered Formula Fords. The race will be run on treaded Toyo tires.

The more cars we get the better this event will be and we're already looking at our own dedicated race on the Sunday. That means that we can race in the regular Formula F race on the Saturday as a warm up for the big one!

Any vintage of car is welcome and we're looking at some age break classes too depending on the variation in the entry.

Vintage cars from the halcyon days of Formula Ford are especially welcome.

    Here is my entry!

    Default The tire debate continues...

I'll admit to having never seen a treaded Toyo tire, but based on the picture of your entry they look a lot like Hoosier R60's.

Yes they are R60's that the car came with. Rest assured they will be replaced with treaded tires for the race! No debate for the Kentledge Cup!

    38 cars entered last weekend.

    Something must be working.

Really!? That's great. Who would have thought that not needing two sets of tires per weekend would result in bigger grids!?

Default Rf92/kent top 5 both races

May I politely mention a well driven, much maligned over the years by supposed 'experts', MONO shock Van Diemen that is older than the driver, finished a strong top 5 both races.

By that I mean within striking distance of the winner.

The engine was from Britain West in Brantford Ontario.

PM me and I will tell you more.
