You may want to look at Hypercoil or Eibach, not "Penski"

Me guesses your looking for 2.25 inner diameter springs. Springs are measured by the inner diameter, not the outer.

    Oh,......No I in Penske

Hey Mark, I usually get springs from the shock shop, seems like they have about the best price. Yeah, new, probably more than used, but $159 for a pair isn't bad and you get them right away. YMMV. I'm pretty sure that the lowest Hyperco goes in a 4" long, 2 1/4 ID is 300#/in but I don't know about other brands.

Looks like Eibach only goes down to 500 Lb. Hypercoil lowest is 350 unless I want to go with 6 in and then I can get 300. I can make 6 in work.
    Any other ideas?

And while I am at it, I ran the car with the front bar disconnected last wkend and got a slightly faster time. It was the first time I have ever experienced the front tires moving(independently). The surface was a bit rough, so I am going to test it again on concrete next wkend. I also got some interesting rear hop and wheel spin which was new and maybe due to the uneven pavement. I would like to try a less stiff front bar; is that an option? Where might I find one?

Great referral, Barry. They have Hyperco in 2.25x4 at 300 and in 6 in down to 200lb.
I will need to confirm 2.25 in.

    Default BRITS

    Mark,

Give BRITS a call in the morning. There should be someone there. They have a large selection of springs and may have what you are looking for.
