Default The Re-Birth of A Zeitler

I am approaching the final stages of my Zeitler restoration project. It's been over a year in the making, but loving every minute of it. Rollin Butler has lovingly rebuilt the engine using his magic talents. Hope you enjoy the photos of the "work-in-progress."

Brings back memories. I competed against many of these in the Northeast back in the 70's. Don't remember a z-bar though, most had a camber compensator under the trans. Looks awesome.

The real early model Zeitlers had a droop-limiter which was a wire cable that connected to the left and right axles over the rear engine bracket/mount.

It's almost done. Getting ready for a shakedown run at Sebring hopefully in May. Then it's maiden race voyage with the SCCA Vintage group at Sebring in June.

Not yet, but that's part of the final "setup" before it goes to the track.

Thank you for your kind comments. The headers were made by Roxanne Headers and designed after the original ones made by John Zeitler in 1969.
