Does anybody have an issue with 45 cars in group 8. If I remember properly from last year the FA's completed 5 laps at a time before bumping into eachother. Also it's historically known that FE's and FC's don't do well together. Looks like a recipe for disaster. I understand the FB's paid extra to have their own run group but 11 cars when everyone else is at least at 30 is a bit ridiculous. I say give them their money back and do some more rational combinations.

Each FB paid $200.00 extra so I would guess with 11 entered that equals an extra 4 cars paid in funds. I can't blame FB for getting their own place, it sure will be interesting with 45 cars as I will be happy trying to make it through the weekend without getting run over in FC.

Sorry for late response. Yeah, 40 predominately faster guys in our group was bit much, and several have impressive rain skills. Never did get a clean qualifying lap. Still fun, though. Hope to see you again soon. I think Roebling is next for us.

I know the fast formula grouping kept at least on FE from running and I am sure a few others decided not to run in the big formula group. Last year at Road Atlanta the FE/FC/FM/P2 group enjoyed a pair of caution free 20 lap races while the FA/FB/P1 group had constant issues.
