    Default Partial transition?

Is it possible to do a partial transition from FV to FST? For example could you just change to the 1600 motor and keep all the rest. According to the FST website the cost of transition could approach $7000. Selling off the FV parts is an option, but that could take months to do.

Just curious if there was an easier way to transition from one to the other and still keep racing.

    Default Caracal C parts

When I listed my FV parts from my Caracal C here on Apex I had them all sold in less than 2 hours. Just my own personal experience.

To answer your question, you can do a partial transition, but the car won't be legal to race as either FV or FST. The FST rules on conversion are basically "all or nothing."

IF the rules change in FV to allow the BJ beam/disc brakes, then you can do a partial and still run FV. After you have changed to the BJ/disc brakes, just add the motor and wheel/tires and you're basically there.
