For Sale Lola T-342 For Sale

Car is sold. Staying in Colorado.

I really need the space in my shop. This car has to go, email me for more pictures of spares.

    Lola-T342
I am selling my Lola 342, just don’t have time for racing and running a business. I purchased this car in 1998 and raced until 2011. This car won 3 CF championships and one 2nd place. In 2010 I purchased a second chassis and rebuilt it from the bottom up using rectangle tube for the top rails and more bracing for stiffness and a taller roll hoop. This car is extremely competitive and fast. With the extra bracing and a mount from the motor to the rear bulkhead all the flex in the rear of the car has been eliminated (not cracks to fix each year in the rear part of the frame. Chassis is powder coated and aluminum 6061-T6 belly pan is riveted and bonded. The engine is a fresh 0 hours Bradford with hi-tech header and aluminum head. Aim dash installed with lat long G’s, steering position, throttle position, and GPS. Body work is 2 years old with spares. Behind the seat ATL fuel cell. This also includes the original chassis with original fuel cell and dash with some suspension brackets still attached. $14,000.00 OBO
    Spares:
    2 Rear up rights
2 Center body sections (1 new) (1 used heavy original)
3 Tail sections all new (2 low drag)
2 Noses (1 New Neal Porter)
2 Sets of radiator shrouds (1 very used)
    2 front uprights
    2 maybe 4 brake disks
    2 calipers
    1 carb
    1 distributor
    1 header
There is a lot more, but I will have to round it up and make a detailed list.

I really need to move this car, I need the space. This is like 1 1/2 cars, two log books, original chassis has original fuel cell, gauges, oil tank, and some suspension still attached. You can take all or part. Make me a reasonable offer.

    Default frame

very nice job of frame stiffening. Lot safer too...Iam going to do the same thing on my T540E. I see you also replaced the single bar in the rear with an X like on the T540/540E.

It's been awhile since this thread used- if the car is still for sale, can you tell me what size driver likely to fit? I'm 5'8", 165 but have shoulder/ roll bar issues on some chassis
    Thanks

You'll fit. I was 5'10" and 200+ when I had mine. Not even snug

I am 6' 2" and 200 lbs. I still had room to move about in the cockpit.

    Default $$$$

"Ron Davis " radiators are unnecessarily expensive. The buyer would do well to shop around.

I think this post is a mistake. The car has nice radiators. The buyer doesn't need to do any shopping around.

The car is an excellent example of a venerable well maintained FF. My comment was about specifically "Ron Davis" spendy radiators. My apology if the comment was misconstrued.

If you are selling any of the parts separately, I am interested in a set of radiator shrouds. What would you want for a set?

Would you sell the uprights and radiator shrouds separately? Do yo have any front or rear lower A-arms?

    Thanks,

I really need to move this car. We can deal on price and the number of spares or parts that go with the two cars.
