Stohr Cars acquired by Dauntless Racing
Dauntless Racing is delighted to announce that we've reached an agreement to buy Stohr Cars! The WF1 and F1000 cars that Lee Stohr and Wayne Felch guided to so much on-track success over the years will be joining the Dauntless family of products.
For us, this means that we will be moving production down to our shop in Vacaville, California over the course of the next few weeks, getting parts in stock, and getting to know our new customers. We're truly excited about the prospect of working with all of you, and are looking forward to continuing to support and develop these cars.
For you, that means mostly business as usual. We are committed to continuing to support the WF1 and F1000, so that you can continue to get spares, parts, and technical support at the same level of excellence as you always have from Wayne. We've got a transition period to go through while we get everything moved and sorted out, but in the meantime feel free to give us a call to chat and talk race cars.
Once we get through those few weeks of transition and we have our legs under us, we plan to continue performance development of the WF1 and F1000. Be prepared for us to release some exciting update packages for both cars over the next year!
We'd also like to take the opportunity to thank Wayne Felch and Roxanne Force for all of the marvelous work they've done at Stohr Cars. Their leadership has been instrumental in evolving not just the cars themselves, but the CSR / DSR / P1 / P2 and FB classes as a whole over the last decade. We wish them the best of luck as they move on to tackle new and exciting challenges.
