    Default Clutch plate bolt torque

The instructions from Kennedy for this stage II plate say 25 ft-lbs for 8.8 bolts. And my notes on clutch replacement are locked up in a non-working hard-drive so I'm starting from scratch here putting the clutch back together.

I'd go with that except my buddy replaced his clutch last year and had some issues with over-torqueing. He's recalling it should be 12-15, not 25 and of course, whatever notes he has are in his trailer and not handy.

Anyone know the torque on these and if they're different from Kennedy instructions? I did a search on here and the old FM site and couldn't find anything (strange I know; should have jumped right out at me.)

    TIA.

    Default Torques

Ted - I believe the flywheel bolts are 54ft-ib and the pressure plate bolts are 24ft-lb.

    regards, Stuart

    Default I think you're right

I think I would have remembered if I had deviated from the Kennedy instructions.

    Thanks Stuart.
