    Default Your Racin' Budget

Many drivers spend their money on buying items for the racecar while other spend their money on track-time. I agree with the track-time expenses. Check out the series costs verses time on track - The FRCCA gives two 20 minute practice sessions, one 20 minute qualifying session and one 40 minute trophy race PER DAY! The cost is $295.00. IF you want to stay for a second day the fee is only $200.00 and you get the same amount of track-time. The other costs are travel time and overnight fees. I know some series take three days to provide just two sessions per day causing overnight stay which will increase your racin' budget but not your track-time. The FRCCA races are basicly in the North-East, Pocono, Summit Point, NJMP and the NY Safety track.

Our EFF model isn't so different. You can do it in your area, too, or come on down to AZ (my brother keeps his car here, and commutes in from La Jolla).

Hopefully with PIRC (Beaverun) expansion completed in 2015, FRCCA will consider coming
    West next year?

    Amon,
That's certainly a possibility we have raced there before, it's an 8hr + tow
For the majority of our members but would love to check out the new layout

    Default School and race 0ne

May 3rd & 4th will host the FRCCA first school and race number one of the eleven races. Pocono's South-East course will be used, this layout has no transition problems AND there are enough straight-away and places for passing. Good, close and safe racing. You do NOT need to change anything on your formula racecar to race with the FRCCA, ALL formula car classes are respected. Check the FRCCA out you will be pleasantly pleased.
