US Formula 1000 welcomes Sprocket Specialists!

GREEN BAY, WI/FREMONT, CA (March 5th, 2014) – Longtime sprocket provider Sprocket Specialists has signed on as a partner sponsor for the 2014 US Formula 1000 Championship, and created the ‘Geared to Win’ award. Sprocket Specialists will provide contingency prizes and random drawings to registered championship drivers in both divisional championships as well at the season finale at Laguna Seca in October.

The ‘Geared to Win’ contingency prizes and awards to be handed out at each championship race:

• One driver will win a free sprocket in the "Sprocket Specialists 'Geared to Win'" random drawing.
• The driver turning the fastest lap in each race will receive 50% off a sprocket purchase in the "Sprocket Specialists 'Geared to Win'" Fastest Lap Award.
• The 3rd place finisher in each race will receive $25 off a sprocket purchase.
• The 5th place finisher in each race will receive $15 off a sprocket purchase.
• The 10th place finisher in each race will receive $10 off a sprocket purchase.
• Finally, every driver that is registered with the series will receive a "Sprocket Specialists Racer ID#" so that when they call to order they will automatically receive a 15% discount off of their sprocket order.
