As noted elsewhere, race registration for the first two rounds of the US Formula 1000 Championship East is now open! Rounds 1 and 2 will take place at Road Atlanta on March 22-23. These races are held in conjunction with the SCCA Majors Tour. The US Formula 1000 cars will be grouped with FA and P1. The series has asked the SCCA to provide a split start and they’ve agreed, as long as we show up in sufficient numbers. To get the split start, we need as much participation as possible so please consider entering this race and registering as soon as possible! Entry info and registration is here:

There's just a little over a month to go before Road Atlanta. So far the entry list is pretty short:
Jason Bell- Stohr (or is that Citation?)
    Charles Livingston- JDR
    Alex Mayer- JDR

    Who else will be there?

    Michael Crowe-Van Diemen
    Richard Franklin-Stohr
    John Hudak-Phoenix
    Charles Livingston- JDR
    Alex Mayer- JDR
    Alastair McEwan-Phoenix
    Jason Slahor-Van Diemen

You guys are making me nervous! Who else is planning on showing up?

We're now up to 6 online entries. With others that have indicated they're going:
    Jeremy Hill
    Jason Slahor
    Alastair McEwan
    Dore Chaponick

...we might break 10 entries. Hopefully enough to justify a split start.

The silence is deafening, who else is thinking about coming?

    Default Road Atlanta

Split start I hope with 10 FA 10 FB and 7 P1's. Makes a lot of sense and should not be a big deal to accommodate.

That was the plan all along assuming enough FB (F-1000) cars showed up to warrant it (and 10 certainly warrants it). Same thing at all the other events on the F-1000 schedule where you don't get your own run group (Mid-Ohio).
