    Default head & neck devices

Having a very confining cockpit I switched to the NecksGen 2 model which is far more comfortable than my old hans device, now allows me to look down as the helmet is not interfering with the horns and shoulder harness and the connections are far easier to use than my old hans connection. It meets the SFI test so unless the test is faulty will work as good as the hans if not better. Good people to work with.

Thanks a ton. How do you keep up with it when not in the car,,, it appears as thought it will fall off. the hybride has those straps to hang yourself with. I still really like the way it looks and should give me some extra room .

    Default NecksGen Size

I just bought the newest version and I have a 17 neck size (shirt). I got the Medium and it fits fine. Much better seating position vs. my HANS.

Is there any data on the side restraint capability on the NecksGen?

I am working on a side restraint structure on the Wolf but I am wondering if I need it with the NecksGen if it really works.

If I look at the HANS video and the NecksGen videos it appears the NecksGen has more forward deflection.

Any comments or data on front deflection/protection?

I would call Kevin at NecksGen for that question but I'm sure more is better if you have the room for any of it. My car is an 87 model where there isn't much chance of improving anything as it was a different era with different requirements so it is probably wise to hope you don't wack anything with it! So be it.

the video isn't very helpful, as it shows a lot of forward deflection. but any given day i can bend my neck down that far without dying. what is missing is the acceleration info.

Yeah, but numbers don't sell devices to most people....scary looking pictures and videos dumb it down for many.
