2014 FRCCA schedule posted

The FRCCA's 2014 season is set and starts off in January with the annual awards banquet
To cheer the 2013 champs and all those that make our racing possible and will once again be held at the Ramsey golf and county club in Ramsey NJ on Jan the 25th at 1pm, all welcome
Tickets are $55 per head.

The season kicks off proper on May 3rd & 4th on pocono's south-east course were we will run
A school and shake down on Saturday followed by more schooling and race #1 on Sunday.

Then the rest of the season is as follows
June 14th & 15th New York safety track
July 26th & 27th New Jersey motorsports park
August 9th & 10th Thompson conn ( road course )
Sept 6th & 7th Pocono north
Oct 5th & 6th New York safety track
Nov 8th & 9th Summit point ( main )

Kudos to the FRCCA for posting their 2014 schedule so early!! It only allowed my wife one conflict.....where are her priorities??? Thanks all, especially that "pesky" Andy Graham, and looking forward to 2014. Come join us

Hey Dave as of right now yes! If we get an influx of students then I may do a school & shakedown in April but it depends on the numbers we get.
I hate to drop Shenandoah it is one of my favorite tracks

Way Way Way back when I attempted to have a car, AJ had requested to get the road course going. I actually called the track myself and talked with them as well to see if rebuilding was an option. No dice.

I have been up to the new track and can tell you they are doing a first class job.

Financial and family were always a problem with me and racing. But the most fun I ever had racing was with the RCCA at the Thompson Oval, night race.

I will go to watch. I am not sure if AJ still goes to these races or not. I hope so, I know he always wanted to see that track used again, what a waste it was to sit there.

If FRCCA makes this a regular event, I might consider coming up with a car for my son.

Will the New York Safety Track be viable for 2014? The news reports seem to indicate that racing won't be happening there this year.

The news article certainly isn't encouraging. I hope they can win an appeal or at least operate in the same manner as last year, with restrictions only to testing, no racing. Then we could at least have a test day.
