We are currently searching for a driver or team that is planning a serious effort in P1 using a two-seat chassis, such as an ex-European VdeV machine or similar. Given the additional weight and aero drag of two-seat vehicles, these cars will need to have significantly better power than current Honda K20s, MZR/Duratecs (or classic units such as a Hart 420 R), if they are to be competitive. A very good torque curve will be needed as well.

Our latest 2.0 L Dual Swirl engine achieves this performance without having to resort to short-life two-ring pistons, extreme cams, or other longevity-threatening measures. It is similar to a Cosworth BDG, and all moving parts are fully-proven.

The engine does not need to be purchased; our goal is to get it into a good car with a good driver, so that its performance can be readily demonstrated. If the team wishes to remain with a Honda-based powerplant, this could be discussed as well.
