Default Tilton O-ring for Autumn Challenge

I could really use an o-ring seal that goes between the cylinder and reservoir of a Tilton brake/clutch cylinder if anyone has one for the Autumn Challenge race this weekend. Thanks.

Look for a local hydraulics shop. They generally have all the o-ring sizes in stock, and at least my local shop say's they're too inexpensive to write a receipt for, so I get the 1's or 2's for free. After my second or third trip, I did ask them to take $5 for their beer fund...

You can buy all the o-rings from Mcmaster-carr, and eash size is only like $3 per hundred for the small sizes.

Good plan for the long run but I don't think I'll get to a shop before I leave this afternoon.

    Matt:

I have some Tilton spare parts, so I'll bring them tomorrow and maybe you can use them.

    Matt:

Arnie likes to be paid in beer, so a twelve pack will do! And since I negotiated the
deal, throw in another six pack while you're at it!!

    Matt:

Good job this weekend! Dropping six seconds from the start of the season
is quite an accomplishment, but now Brian and I expect to see you below
1:20 by this time next year!

Thanks, Mark. It has been a real year of learning, that's for sure. I REALLY appreciate everyone's help.

I would like to have backed-up my Saturday morning time yesterday.....actually, I really wanted to beat it.....but things just didn't go that way. I was working hard at it and maybe that it part of the problem. It doesn't help when you get stuffed by the Spec Racers and the field gets away from you. I like having a rabbit.

See you and everyone in the spring and hopefully I can pick-up where I left off and drop my times even more.

    Matt,

I'll quote a former president who said " I feel your pain" when it comes to those SRF's!
Actually, I once bounced off an SRF who was holding me up in Oak Tree and for once he got the worst of it. On the other hand, I had an SRF drive over me in the carousel
causing his entire back cover to go airborne when he used my shock tower to dislodge it! It was quite a sight seeing it go over my car at altitude and land across the track. The driver later took out the lead SRF when he was getting lapped so it was ironic that he wrecked havoc on his own class!

Keep up the good work and see you in the spring!

    Mark
