    Default Nova_Piper - SOLD

Our Piper F1000 is for sale. This car has won EVERYTHING including the 2011 Runoffs. Just back from a 6th place in the rain at the Runoffs. As you know we did not make the right tire choice.

This car is one of the best F1000s in the country and has everything you need to win races. Here is a list of some of the spares.

    Multiple suspension control arms
    Multiple uprights
3 sets of wheels, 7" fronts, 9" rears
rains with 3 total sessions on them
    4 piston brake calipers
    2 noses
    1 crush box
    Lots of sprockets & chains
    Multiple wing packages
    Spare HRP difusser

    Details of the car:
Piper DF5 chassis with engine installation by Don Sievenpiper
Penske triple adjustable shocks - Recently rebuilt and matched
    3rd front spring that works
    Taylor Quaiffe diff
NovaRace low drag cooling system. Works great (see the pics)
Brand new fresh Moon Super Cycle 2008 GSXR1000 motor. Just the Runoffs on it and it is an excellent motor.
Multiple wing packages including the newest Dauntless front and rear wing package.
Pennon wing package. Front and rear
    NovaRace-HRP difusser
Flat Shifter Expert electronic paddle shift package. Works EVERY time.
    Lithium-ion battery
This was the lightest car in impound after the Runoffs at 1008 lbs with rain tires which add 5 lbs to the car.
Carbon nose with external wing mounts. Crush box not needed.
NovaRace designed and BrakeMan built forged aluminum caliper. The best there is.
Top of the line AIM data system with AIM wheel, shock pots and all else.

I know there is lots more and I will post many more pics after I get caught up.

Price is reduced again to $40,000 with all spares.

Price is negotiable depending on equipment etc. if you want to buy a new car it will be at least 50% more before you get it up to speed with all the spares you need.

Willing to separate the engine from car if that is what you want. Also willing to design and install another engine if new owner so desires.

The moderator accidentally deleted my original ad. So here it is again with just a bit more info. Need to move this car before the end of the year.

All this car needs to win is a good driver and a nice wax job after the rain at the Runoffs.

3 sets of new tires available for the right deal.

This is a great car. Since we got it we have won 3 Divisional Championships and the Runoffs in 2011. Certainly one of the top 5 cars in the country with LOTS of spares.

Just freshened Greg Moon motor with 5 sessions on it at the Runoffs this year. Even with a spin on the first lap Brian finished 6th out of 21, and we missed the rain setup.

You cannot go faster for less $$$ in any class or car in the SCCA.

Still for sale. $45,000 with all spares and 3 sets of new slicks for the right deal.

    Must go by Jan.

    Jay,

I have never sat in a Piper. What kind of cockpit size are we talking about for us "grand" drivers? I am 6'2" 210 lbs. Any cockpit/driver compartment photos?

Very tight for the big guys Jay. However Tom Sweitz has won a ton of races in a Piper and he is no shrinking violet. Find one close to you and see if you fit.

Again, why is this car still for sale?

If you want to win in FB, for the money you cannot beat this deal. I wish I had the skill.

I am not a small 6'3" and 200. I did fit decently in this very car. It is not as big as, say the FE chassis, but I could make it work. I would just like a little more knee room. A bit depends on how you position yourself in this chassis. If longer or short legged, it could matter.

    Jim

PS----as with everything Jay does, this car is impeccable. Really, really trick stuff tucked away on it that I won't divulge. I'll save that for the buyer. If I wasn't committed to F2kcs, this would be headed home with me.

Thanks Jim, I was surprised that you fit without any changes. there is more leg room available but we have some of the data system bits in that area as Brian does not need the room.

Jay, what is the greatest benefit of the unique side pods? Lower center of gravity, lower aero Cd, better underbody flow, or ?

Actually this is a VERY GOOD race car for sale. It did win the Runoffs in 2011 and it is still capable of winning the Runoffs.

Ok boys and girls, time to move the Piper F1000 car out of our shop. I am certain that this car with Justin Pritchard and Brian Novak driving has won more races than any other F1000 in the country.

The biggest win was in 2011 when Brian won the Runoffs. This car is well prepared and has a brand new Greg Moon motor in the car that has 5 sessions on it at the Runoffs. I mis-geared the final drive ratio at the Runoffs and we were down 3 to 4 mph on top end.

This car is well prepared and ready to win more races right now. It has a great spares package and we will assist the new owner with all setup and data help needed. It has a top of the line AIM data system as well as a great spares package. It does need a wax and polish and a bead seat to fit the new driver. No BS, this car can win races.

All reasonable offers will be considered. Rediculously low offers will not be considered.

Justin's win at the 2007 ARRC against 12 other cars was pretty historic, too!
