    Default And where is Reid?

Where is Reid? We need him back out there!

A race report would be great and some Video from Jeff Bartz and Ed's car if it exists.

    Will have details later.

However, I have Ethan's video and mine... And here's a gem from his.

I told him he can't drive the wrong way at 5, but he continued to do so.

This was just before I took flight over his LF.

Sitting on my couch, eating a grilled cheese and turkey sandwich while watching it on RaceMonitor.

Tell me about it, John. I spend far to much time posting on Apexspeed now. I've been thinking of taking up shuffle board, or maybe Bocce Ball but I don't know if I can handle the excitement. Ever since I gave up golf my life has been really boring.

Race was interesting. They went with no split start this weekend and it turned out to be a big fight between me Ed and two other F500. One of the 500's spun twice and things were getting hairy so I backed off. Still huge congratulations to Ed and it seems like having Tim drive the car has helped out a huge amount so that's cool. Overall just a little frustrated as I didn't get to race just with Ed and it was a constant shuffle not allowing for many clean laps.

I've been racing for over forty years and today was the most intense race I have ever been in. In almost every turn of every lap I was either getting passed or passing someone. I'll say this, trying to out brake a F500 is just plain STUPID.

I'll also say this. Jeff and the 500 drivers were all great to race with. Everyone fought hard and clean. They all showed respect for their competitors.

Clearly, I have picked the wrong sport. Sigh.

    Default Last lap Turn 5

Yep, I don't recommend taking Turn 5 backwards on the last lap. Mike and I were nose to tail going into 5, I lost the back end and Mike had nowhere to go. Both drivers are ok, both cars are going to be ok, both wallets are going to be a little thinner however... Prior to that, it was a really fun 3 car battle with Green and Vlasis for pretty much the whole race.

    Last lap of Sunday's race....

    My video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0ajBFfa53Q

    Oops.

I'm going to put a video together of all the passes between John, Ethan and myself... fun time, racing incident... in hindsight, I could have completely drive around Ethan... but the fog of war made me think I could just slide right by, which would have worked until his front tires caught and moved into my way :-(
