    Hi gang,

I had to leave the track before all the black flags and protests where worked out from the FC / FF race, ..

anyone know the results & fast laps for the FF race?

I think we had all of 8 laps of green flag racing, .. spent more time behind the pace car then racin, .. 8^(

    Hi JD,

What happened, .. I'm not sure cuz I was at the back of the trouble pack.
My understanding is there was a bunch of contact in the FC race, .. several cars off track, .. and maybe some passing under yellow.

Like I said, .. I think we had all of 8 laps of green flag, .. the rest behind the pace car.

    Egads!!

I heard a tale of one FC driver that went blowing by three flag stations displaying a double yellow, passing cars all along the way, on three seperate occasions
I hear he is a veteran driver too.
    A sad day indeed.

    JD,

I had a "veteran" FC driver make a dive bomb into the apex in turn three from behind the FF that was behind me, .. almost collected both of us and came close to sending us into the Kitty Litter, ..
    a real bone head move.

This was during the first qualifying, ..

I can understand going for it but his fast lap was already gone, .. and I WAS on a good one.
White FC, .. but I'll not devulge any names, ..

I'm don't think there were even 8 laps at speed. I was in the pits crewing for FF divers
Dan Carney and Eric Cruz. I've been in some messy races at Summit Point before but I'm sure this one took the record. FCs were everywhere and seemed to be the cause of all the trouble. The stewards ended the race early as well. The gravel traps don't help when there is no easy way to get a car out. They need to pave them and leave 10 feet of grass between that and the track.

Good idea with the grass/ashpalt/gravel, but good luck selling it to anyone. I think I actually saw a tow truck stuck in one of the traps when we were under yellow.
