Davison stopped on the back straight during the qualifying race and did not come to the grid for the pints race. I do not know why.

Saturday he had a fuel delivery problem.
Rumor has it it was delivery from the fuel jug to the car

Sunday his electrical system leaked all the smoke out from the wires. It was pretty toast - 5 wires or so in harness all melted. ick.
He did run enough for me to chase him around and learn alot about Gman :-)


On Saturday, Dave lost a plug wire. Dave got stuck in 2nd gear in the Sunday race.
And Dave - get a Hoosier patch and signed up for contingency program... you'd win a free tire for Sunday!

I was just glad to see Dave make it to the race, he hasn't been out much the last few years.
And as far as tires goes, he was using someone else's cast-offs.
This is a really nice guy, but has somewhere between little to no racing budget.

He was qualifying for the runoffs. Just "turn a wheel" at 3 majors weekends thing, ya know.

Russ had an engine failure after a few laps on Saturday. Didn't find out the story on that.

Well, yessss indeed.

Scrubbed in new 35s and 45s on Friday.
Ran the 45s on Saturday.
Ran the 35s on Sunday.
I'll post a comparison soon... still want to look @ some data.

Got 4 tires from Hoosier for the two wins. Its like racing is paying for itself!
