Default ETE Reman to Back US Formula 1000 at June Sprints!

Rounds 7 and 8 of the US Formula 1000 Championship East got yet another prize boost with announcement of backing from ETE Reman. With a goal of increasing entries, getting more cars on the grid, and rewarding more of the drivers, ETE Reman has offered up a tiered cash prize package worth up to $2,000! Of course, the winner will get the largest portion of the prize but the remainder of the payout will be distributed to the top 4th, 5th, and 6th place drivers of the weekend. Here’s the catch, if 15 cars or more start each race, the payout will expand to the 7th and 8th place finishers and payouts will double! Meaning there will be payouts made for each race, rather than the points accumulated from the entire weekend. According to ETE Reman Vice President of Manufacturing and US Formula 1000 driver Lawrence Loshak, “I want to help this awesome growing series by getting more drivers to show up to the June Sprints, it’s an awesome event and a preview of the Runoffs. We’re going to try to do that by awarding more drivers than the classic awards to the top three finishers”.

ETE Reman is also extending special discounts for all US Formula 1000 series competitors, friends and family for their automatic transmission needs. “If our tow vehicles weren’t enough to worry about, we all have our cars that get us to our jobs on Monday morning. And when you need a high quality transmission fast, ETE Reman can ship it right to the address you prefer in a matter of 2-3 days across the entire USA.”

Rounds 7 and 8 of the US Formula 1000 Championship East are held in conjunction with the Chicago Region June Sprints at Road America on June 14th through June 16th. To be eligible for prizes, drivers must be registered with the US Formula 1000 Championship East and wear 2 provided ETE Reman logos on their race cars, 1 on each side.
ETE REMAN is a Remanufacturer of Transmissions and Transfer Cases for Domestic, Foreign, High Performance, and Exotic Cars and Trucks. With an industry leading 3 year/1,000,000 mile, No-Hassle warranty. ETE REMAN remanufactures over 4,000 different transmissions for over 16,000 vehicle applications and has 6 regional warehouses throughout the USA. ETE Reman also sells its own formula of fully synthetic transmission fluid.

That's right boys and girls! Time to reconsider coming to the June Sprints!!! Not only a great preview of what's to come in September, historically a fantastic event to be apart of. 4 miles of speed coupled with Siebkens, the Osthoff and Elkhart Lake.

    So payout will be:

If less than 15 cars start each race, prizes will be for the top finishers of the weekend (points accumulated):

    1st: $250
    4th: 200
    5th: 175
    6th: 150

If more than 15 start each race, the payouts below will be for each race:

    1st: $250
    4th: 200
    5th: 175
    6th: 150
    7th: 125
    8th: 100

So coupled with the other prizes already on the table this is turning into a pretty grand weekend... Don't miss it!!!!!!!!

I've always thought that was the way to get more mid-pack racers to attend any race. Very nice job for the class.

See if you can convince my wife that we can deliver our baby girl at the track in Wisconsin. She's due 7/7 but I'm betting it will be a couple weeks early.

Thanks for the support! I hope it catches on with other sponsors. Otherwise the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, so to speak.

Tim, giving birth into water is the new thing, supposed to be more natural. Elkhart Lake is some of the cleanest water and lake I have ever seen with a beautiful beach and resort (Osthoff). Maybe the wife will be down if you get her a fatty room

But like Nick said, best wishes and to happy and healthy new born!

Thanks everyone, but I don't think she'll go for it. I think I'll save my goodwill for when I bring up the runoffs, which is likely when she is allowed a couple glasses of wine.
